Cerritos College Fall 2020

Hello guys,

I applied to LBCC, Cerritos, Rio Hondo, and Harbor College for Fall 2020. I wanted to start this Cerritos College thread because I didn't see one yet made.

I know that Cerritos College only accepts students once a year and splits them between Fall and Spring cohorts. Do any of you guys know what their stats were for last year? Also, some of your stats would be appreciated.

I applied in March 2019. I never got a denial letter, I only got notification now that I got accepted.

Yes. This is what their nursing website states,
“The program will be making decisions regarding the Spring 2021 admission class by early August 2020....

Once all Spring 2021 admits have been notified and have accepted, then all other applicants will be notified by regular mail of their non-acceptance and will be given the opportunity to move their application forward in the next admission cycle in January 2021.“

For anyone still wondering...

Looks as if they just updated their Nursing website yesterday (06/26/20) stating that the 12 students selected for Fall 2020 have already been notified.

And (as mentioned in the comment above), the 50 students for Spring 2021 will be selected in early August 2020. Notifications will be sent to the email address on the application and will follow up with a phone call.

Good luck to those still hoping for Spring 2021! Or still waiting to hear back from other schools for Fall 2020!

Do you believe you were accepted through the lottery or through the multi-criteria?

I havent heard anything for Spring 2021.

Has anyone been contacted for the Spring semester through email? They said they will contact early August ?
