Cerritos College Fall 2020

Hello guys,

I applied to LBCC, Cerritos, Rio Hondo, and Harbor College for Fall 2020. I wanted to start this Cerritos College thread because I didn't see one yet made.

I know that Cerritos College only accepts students once a year and splits them between Fall and Spring cohorts. Do any of you guys know what their stats were for last year? Also, some of your stats would be appreciated.

I tried emailing the director but no response. Maybe if you guys try to send in an email, we’d get a response? I hope they send them soon so I know if I should apply to other schools or not for Spring.

I emailed the director like five times and I got no response as well. The director is incompetent so I don't think the director will help.

they updated the website:

" OUR DECISIONS FOR Spring 2021 ARE STILL PENDING. We are hopeful that Spring 2021 selections will be made by September 8th, 2020. At this time, the program does intend on admitting a full class (~50 students) in January 2021. We will continue to update the website here to let you know of dates that email acceptances will go out..."

NURSING APPLICATION SCREENING UPDATE (09/03/2020):We have completed the screening process for all applicants who applied in this year's application cycle (deadline 03/16/2020). 

THIRD: OUR DECISIONS FOR Spring 2021 ARE STILL PENDING. We are hopeful that Spring 2021 selections will be made by September 10th, 2020.  At this time, the program intends on admitting a reduced class size (~30 students) in January 2021. We will continue to update the website here to let you know of dates that email acceptances will go out. We will email you to the email address on your application. We will also follow up with a phone call by the deadlines date stated in the email. Once all Spring 2021 admits have been notified and have accepted, then all other applicants will be notified by regular mail of their non-acceptance and will be given the opportunity to move their application forward in the next admission cycle in January 2021 for a Fall 2021 / Spring 2022 admission.

Who else is really scared and nervous? I want to know I am not the only one :( This is my first application cycle applying compared to other people but I just really want to get accepted to a program.

Hello, I am nervous as well, this is my second application cycle. I have been tryin to get into programs for 2 years... I hope this is my chance to start my journey on becoming a RN! ?

still nothing on my end. I read that they are only accepting 30 students now which sucks.

I havent received an email as well, would you tell me when you do?
