Do we need to take the TEAS before applying?

@meangreen: No you do not need TEAS before but you get more points for it. I have not taken the TEAS therefore, my points are low at 38.

I took the TEAS about a week ago and I used the Smart Edition online course along with the Mometrix textbook for version 6. I bought the mometrix book without realizing TEAS version 7 was out LOL but it was still helpful! Also, what helped me a LOT was taking a lot of practice exams. The Smart Edition online course package comes with 8 practice exams! Highly recommend.

Thank you!? I actually have the Mometrix book V6 my friend gave me since she said not much changed. I've been asking about Smart edition but no one I know has heard about it LOL. Glad to hear feedback from someone not on their website. I need all the practice tests I can get.
