Hello fellow ED RN's- What are some good reviewers to prep for the CEN. I have heard of med-ed, are there any other you guys would recommend.

I have several... David Woodruff's course, Jeff Solheim's course, Pass CEN, and a couple of others.

Jeff Solheim's is the best of this lot.

Specializes in EMS, ED, Trauma, CEN, CPEN, TCRN.

Total Jeff Solheim fangirl here! I saw him at the ENA Leadership Conference in 2012 and was like, OMG! Hahaha. I love his teaching style. I used his Med-Ed review to pass my CEN in 2009.

I really like his "Pearl" booklets - bite-size chunks of random information. One of our ER docs was looking at one and said, "wow, that's pretty good." I listen to his CDs while I drive. I listen to David's, too, but I prefer Jeff's style.

Specializes in Critical Care, ED, Cath lab, CTPAC,Trauma.

Laura Gasparis Vonfrolio...LOVE HER!

Thanks everyone. I'm gonna check the ones mentioned out.

Specializes in ER, ICU, Family Practice.

Jeff Solheim all the way

Specializes in ER.

Mark Boswell has put his entire lecture series on youtube. He clearly knows his stuff and it ended up being the most helpful thing I used to study and I passed.

Specializes in Emergency.

Another vote for Mark Boswell.

CEN Review Manual from ENA, everything you need is in this book and it has online practice exams! Just don't buy it from amazon or ebay cause people sell those without the access codes to the practice exams or with already used ones.
