How many TV shows about Nurses have you seen? There have been many in years gone by. I remember watching reruns of one called "Temperature's Rising" that was made back in the 70's. And, of course we've had several more since then. They never seem to actually capture the true essence of the Nurse, however. And, maybe the Producers think that reality TV would be boring? What? I think a reality Nurse TV show would be a HIT! What do you think?

Please, no more reality shows! They aren't reality anyway, and it'll all be edited for the ratings. I can't stand to watch medical shows- so many mistakes, and many of them have the nurse as eye candy while physicians do nursing duties.

There was a reality tv show about traveling nurses on MTV called "scrubbing in" and it was awful.

When I think Celebrity Nurse I think of China Beach. Colleen McMurphy. *swoon*

The best were the soap opera nurses. All they ever did was hang around the nurses' station or cafeteria and gossip and look impeccably pretty. Oh, and have affairs with doctors.

Anyone remember nurse and head gossip Amy Vining from "General Hospital" back in the day, or Lyla Montgomery from "As the World Turns" who was a lounge singer by night? LOL

I watched Days Of Our Lives where the characters went from candy striper to nurse to doctor in one calendar year.

Was Amy the one with the huge mouthful of teeth? Like 36 all in the top row? And a massive head of blonde hair?

Anyhow, my favorite was Bobbi Spencer. Talk about Media wish fulfillment for every male in the country: Hooker With a Heart of Gold becomes Bedside RN (in about 3 months lol).
