Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad 2011

Just wanted to know if anyone here got an e-mail invitation on Cedars-Sinai RN New Grad Program. I had my phone interview with them on December 29th. I received my e-mail today inviting me to the hiring event Open House for the Program on January 19th. I'm soooo nervous. It's been almost a year since I graduated and I finally got my first in-person interview! It's been so hard on all of us graduates! Let's hope for the best! :D

there are about 40 people reading this thread right now.. maybe we're all waiting for a call still? any post about your status would be really helpful :) let's hope they start calling after lunch!

Got the job offer call yesterday (Monday) at 5:30pm. I did not get the job application email last Friday. It was sent to me after I got the call. My last name begins with S. I graduated with a BSN last August. My GPA was just below 3.5. I got my RN in March, and I also have a PHN. My preferred unit is Cardiac ICU. Congrats to everyone who got the call. I can't wait to meet y'all. Good luck to those who have yet to get the call. I hope you get it soon :)

I've been wondering the same thing because I also noted that this time around very few people from this thread got the call.

But I guess they are calling people just not us :crying2:

I wonder what's going on. I swear the previous threads were more consistent with the "I got the call!" posts. This time around, it seems like no one on this thread is getting a call. This is making me more anxious. It would be nice to know how many people have received phone calls so far

Congratulations j point. Will tomorrow be last day of contact? If we are not contacted by tomorrow I guess they will be sending out emails for those not hired.

Has anyone heard anything about the other cohorts? It seems like only first cohort people got calls. Maybe tomorrow they'll start calling the next cohort people.

I called HR today and they told me that it's taking them longer to select and to call than they thought, so hang tight, they might not get through all the calls until next Friday. They said only one woman is making the calls so it's going to take her quite a few days to get though everyone.
