I am sure they look at multiple factors when deciding on who to hire. Education, GPA, how well interview was conducted, and our one page essay. Everyone has few more days to look forward to. :nurse:

A friend of mine was just offered a spot in the July 11 cohort (in the last hour, I think). Last name starts with S.

For those of you who have received calls, were you told to expect to work nights? And if so, what did you tell your open house interviewer about the shift you preferred?

I havent gotten a call yet, and my last name starts with a Z ! -___-

I wonder if they will call our references...

I think they're going alphabetically by start date....they probably finished notifying people for the July 11th cohort.....

Have you ever thought that they might be calling by application dates too; on a 1rst come 1rst serve base. I don't think is just a matter of degree or GPA. Think about it! In a cohort you probably want people with different backgrounds right? Not only BSN's and MSN's...

I have a Master's degree in Biology, a BSN with 3.7 GPA and my RN license since March. Still waiting for the call. I think we should all relax and give HR some time. Depending on when they also receive our background check info, call references, etc... Remember, they have to go through 300 applications!!!

Hi All,

Cedars Offered my daughter a job starting July 11. She received a phone call about 10:30 Monday, last name J,

BSN 3.9 .....conditional upon a few things like supplying 5 references to be verified etc. Daughter had taken the NCLEX recently but wasn't aware results were back, CS knew & informed her of results. You all have supplied a lot of information that's been helpful, thank you!
