Do any new grads have experience with EPIC? I think that’s the software they use.

I am currently an RN student at LA County College of Nursing and they’re using/teaching us their custom system called ORCHID....and it is a NIGHTMARE. I can’t imagine any reputable hospital using this system efficiently. I am concerned I am not learning a system that other hospitals use.

What systems did you all use in school?

I did a lot of my rotations through Kaiser Permanente, and I believe they use Epic. I’ve never heard of ORCHID. Try to learn whatever your rotations use, but from what I hear Epic is the most common.

Hi guys! I submitted my video interview on the 16th. I heard we were supposedly to find out this week, but I haven’t gotten any emails or calls. Maybe the holiday weekend got them behind?

someone on fb received an invite to the in person event via email. i haven't received anything ? part of me is hoping they're sending it out in chunks
