So the application for Cedar-Sinai's RN Residency Program opened for the March 2015 Cohort. I thought that this would be the perfect place to gather and talk about our experiences and thoughts as applications are being reviewed. Has anyone applied in the past?? What is the turnaround time from application to interviews? I know from past threads that there were three rounds of interviews.
If any RNs are in the program now or have completed the program, please feel free to post with any comments, tips, or advice about the interview process.

Hi! Congrats to those of you who made it through the video interview. I did not get a chance to apply this round. I'm interested to hear about this video interview... what kind of questions were asked? Anyone willing to share their experience? I was also wondering if anyone could remember the name of the job posting. I read through some previous threads and some people said they couldn't find the position. I plan to apply for the next round so any information would be helpful :) Thanks in advance!
the video interview was an interesting experience. its not like a skype interview - its a one-sided interview where you answer questions on the screen. There was only a handful of question, not a lot. The questions were quite generic, mostly asking about you/experience, nothing you can't figure out an answer for and i don't remember the exact listing but i believe xcdesp is right with "RN Residency." its probably hard to find the position because like someone said earlier, its only up for a couple of hours or so. i stumbled upon it through indeed.com and was able to find it on the cedars website right away. its really sometimes sheer luck you catch the job listing. but good luck on catching it next time around healthyliving33!
Hmmmm I wonder what this means for all of us? Are they still going through the applicant pool, or were they not able to find enough to move on to the next round? Well I guess everyone's guess is as good as mine
Thank you bananafana for starting this thread! I, too, applied and did the one-way interest. Submitted it on Jan 10th. Interesting to see that bobcee received an email for the one-way interview on the 14th! I was hoping to get an update by this weekend but seems like they are still screening applicants?
