Just wanted to kick this one off for all those who are applying so that we can all lean on one another. So nervous!
I thought I had a relatively solid application (years of volunteer experience, good grades, clinical experience outside of school, glowing letters of rec), but after my rejection from UCLA last week, I'm not so sure anymore. ?
Got a referral this time around, but the referral told me to still apply to other facilities because it's fairly competitive at Cedars.
I interviewed Thursday morning and got called Friday around 3pm with an offer. I did not get the reference email since I have already been with the company told it wasn’t necessary. I got an offer for 6NE Post Op Cardiac which I was told was only going to be taking one new grad.
Congrats on the offer! If we didn’t get a reference email does that mean we are out probably?
So long story short, I was but I quit because I had gotten offers elsewhere. I still did the interview with Cedars and got hired so decided to go through with Cedars. Therefore since I quit my previous role I am considered external now and have to go through the whole hiring process.
Oh okay I am asking because I thought you were internal. But that makes sense. I’m internal so I don’t have to do the full hiring process but I do have to do some portions of it and transfer paper work
