CCBC Spring 2011

Hello everyone,

I wanted to say hello to everyone applying to Spring 2011. When do you plan on handing in your application? I am so excited to be near the end of my perquisites. GOOD LUCK and I hope to see you all in the spring!!!:coollook:

Why did that one chic say 'congrats to class of 2013'? Aren't we going to finish in Fall of 2012? I paid my $200 already. LOL. I was too excited. I can't wait to get the packet in the mail. This is giving me a surge of energy to finish this semester! AP2 and Micro. It has been busy. Now it is all worth it.

Sorry, I meant 2012, lol.

Hey everyone! Congrats to everyone who has a seat fee! And also...check your mailboxes because my letter came today!! :D I'm Rachel, and I am in the day program for Essex. I am currently in Micro with Curran and APII with Wright...both at Essex campus!

This is for the girls without seat fees...

When you get your letter...Does your letter tell you that you have been put on a wait list? I got mine today and it says I have been waitlisted and I will have a final letter in December...Its probably just a general letter that they send to everyone who gets rejected but I was just wondering...

Hello everyone -

My name is Shelly and I will be in the Essex day program. I am currently finishing up Micro with Doug Meise at Dundalk. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. Laurie, you will not be the oldest one there. I was laid off, decided to change careers, and only needed a few prerequisites. I am so excited - I feel just like I did when I received acceptance letters from colleges at the end of high school. I hope my package is in the mail today.

I am day-Essex. My name is Laurie. I am currently taking A+P 2 with Dr. Van de Wal, and Micro with Dr. Gilinger at Essex. Rachel, are you in my class?? I am 37 and have a 12-year old daughter. I came to nursing because my social work license did not result in a job!

Well, I'm not very good at names - but I am in Dr. Van de Wal's class on Monday Wednesday Friday at 8 in the morning..... so it is possible! I would recognize you in class but I am SO bad with names, lol! But I am going to be in the day program at CCBC, I'm in class with Dr. Van De Wal and Microbiology with Dr. Wright :)

And I wouldn't worry about being the oldest at all!! :) - I'm nervous because I feel like I'll be the youngest :confused:

Man - I'm not at home today, hopefully I'll get it when I get home tonight if it came in the mail!! Laurie, are you in my lab class on Wednesday's also? Do you have short/dark hair? I'm trying to picture who you are! That's pretty cool that we'll at least know someone going in :D

Rachel: yes we are in lab together Wednesdays. I sit with Sheila. Sheila and I are the same age. BTW I just registered for the dosage class on campus.

HI! I just recieved my letter stating that i was on the wait list. If you have got accepted into the essex program but have decided to go somewhere else, please let me know so i can figure out what my chances of getting into the Spring 2011 are.

I received the same letter as you. I'm sure they just send the same message to everyone who is on the wait list. Did your letter say they will review the applications of those on the waitlist by the end of the SPRING? And let you know by December? I'm hoping that was a typo. I think they meant they will review the applications by the end of the FALL semester right? Also, I'm curious of how many were accepted, and how many people are on the waiting list. Do you have any idea?
