I wanted to say hello to everyone applying to Spring 2011. When do you plan on handing in your application? I am so excited to be near the end of my perquisites. GOOD LUCK and I hope to see you all in the spring!!!

Well I really want to see the reason I didn't get a seat fee....I have everything completed...all good grades, good Teas grade...I just don't get it...I finished everything! Ahhh what am I going to do now! Now I have to wait another year... After I waited 3 years.

Well I don't want to be a total debby downer, so good job to all you ladies who got a seat fee. Best wishes.

Hey everyone, don't get down yet if you didn't get a seat fee. I know how accounting works (used to do alot of it). Not everything for billing gets posted in the same day. I know that not all of us will make it, but don't ruin your weekend when you might be ok.

jess i know how you feel! i too have all classes completed. i am hoping they are not finished posting all the fees yet or even to get wait listed would be better than a no. good luck to you!

I just checked my account and I DO have a seat fee (Essex)! I am so excited. Congratulations to all those accepted and I'm crossing my fingers for those who haven't seen anything yet.

i got a seat fee for essex!!! i have waiting for the past 2 years to get accepted into a nursing program! :yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah::yeah:

To those who didn't get in.. do NOT get discouraged... it took me 7 rejection letters before I ever got one acceptance to a nursing program!!!

Hey guys! So if you go to your regular ccbc portal, where you can choose to go to simon, your email or webCT, you can click on bill at the top of the page, that's where my $200 showed up =) it hasn't been posted to SIMON yet, but if you go to pay your bill, and then click pay by credit card, and login to the electronic billing system, my $200 was there! just wanted to let you guys know for those of you who didn't think you got it, because i didn't think i did but then i called and figured it out!

Got my seat fee for Essex! I had to say something on here because I am nervous to tell anyone else until I get the actual letter! Congratulations to everyone who got in!!!

Congratulations!! I was afraid to tell anybody too, but I showed my dad my seat fee =) I'll wait to tell anyone else until I get my letter I think, just so I don't have to explain to people how I know I'm in, lol! Congrats to everyone!

Hey guys. Just wanted to let you know that I called the school today and talked to Patty. I acted dumb and said "I noticed there was a $200 charge on my account, so I called the Bursar's office and they told me to call the Office of Selective Admissions...". She said, "Well...we sent out letters today and the charge is there because...we would like to offer you a seat in the nursing program, congratulations!!" (She seemed a little reluctant to divulge this secret, like she wasn't sure if she was allowed to tell...lol) I called because even though I was sure this trick worked, I talked myself into the fact that it could be a fluke. Just wanted to let those of you know who were worried about jinxing it by telling other people. Looks like we're safe.

On another note, for those of you who didn't get a seat fee...the wait is not over for you. The office will send a rejection letter which gives a reason, BUT many letters of acceptance are CONTIGENT! (Myself for example, since I am still in A&PII) This means if someone is still in their last pre-req, they have to satisfy those contigencies with a specific grade in their last classes...not everyone will be able to do that! Also, CCBC is not everyone's first choice, so there will be people who were rejected that will get offered a seat because they are on a "waiting list". I actually know someone (that knows someone) to whom this happened to last semester. I can only imagine how heartbreaking it must be, but the fight is not yet over. Please, keep your head up!
