I have applied for Fall 2008. I was wondering if anyone who has previously applied for a fall semester remember how soon they recieved their acceptance letter(April or May).

Scarcity, you should be able to see your TEAS score on the ATI website, with you registration code. That's how I found out my score. I'll give you the name of the secretary who helped me out on Monday, it's on my work laptop and I'm home right now.

Cool by Fall 2011 Scarcity and I should be RN's! We'll absolutely keep you posted. Good luck with your pre-reqs!

Do you know what specialty you want to train in? I'm looking forward to L&D.

Dancin, did you watch "Hopkins" last night? LOL!

Im gonna be getting my BSN right after my ADN bcos my ultimate goal is to become a CRNA....thanks for letting me know where to find my score...it was 82.9% on the TEAS test Dancing.

Yes I watched it. We've only been reminded every day for the last month

:chuckle\

Funny but I started crying when it came on because one day I really want to be working there - on the medical side. Right now I work for IT and sit in front of a computer all day.

I have so many thoughts about where I want to be as a nurse. I think the biggest part of me wants to work in the Children's Center, but I'd also love to be in the OR or ER. I just want to be where I can learn the most. Eventually I think I want to be a Nurse Practitioner.

KLW1129...Sorry to be off topic but I noticed that you at a MT. i applied to the MLT program at AACC. Was wondering about the job opportunities, hours in the area, actually close to annaplois if you happen to know. the director says opportunties are great, even for m-f days, manpower shortage etc...but I don;t see the jobs when I research.

I was in the RN program for one semester but it was too intense prob because I'm a single mom. want to do the LPN program but thought its wiser to go for mlt.

I was wondering why you are choosing nursing now.

Thanks.

Also good luck I hope you got in!!! can't see why you wouldn't with your backround

Can anyone who has attended essex evening/weekend program tell me when the breaks are and how long they are...i know classes are typically 10 weeks but i need an actual breakdown as in months when we get breaks. do we have to attend summer school?

I'm getting ready to start my last year of the evening weekend program.

This is how it worked for us:

Your first year you get a break over the winter from about mid-December to mid-January. You get about 2 months off in the summer (June-August). Then your second year you get a break in the winter, but I'm told it's not as long because you have to take Trends somewhere in there. After that, you're done!

OH! You also get off for Thanksgiving and any other holidays that fall during the school year. If the school is closed, no class, and no clinical on that weekend.

Good luck...hope this helps :)

thank you so much Amanda!!!
