CCBC Nursing Fall 2015

Ok now I am freaking out because my ccbc gpa is 3.0 science gpa is also 3.0 but when I look at cas it says my overall and science are a 2.3? That doesn't make any sense

Not at this time. I just left the SHP office in the Essex campus, and I asked a couple questions and here's what they said; The very nice receptionist told me that just because you are intending to apply to the ATB program, does not give you an advantage against the competition. In order for someone to do the ATB program, they would have to get into the traditional program and everyone has that same opportunity. She also stated that they are now pushing back the date to about midway through May for anyone to hear anything. She said that they are having issues with the new CAS system, and they literally are just starting to review the applicants. I hope that this helps with anyone who may have had the same questions or concerns.

Apparently CAS messed up my GPA but luckily mrs Simmons from the shp office told me they don't look at that GPA only the ccbc GPA. This whole thing has been a mess!

I agree this whole process has been nothing but a stressful mess. I have had several issues with CAS. Luckily, Mrs. Simmons is very knowledgeable and doesnt mind clearing up any concerns applicant's may have. I hope they are able to knock out all of the kinks on the CAS system before applicants begin applying for Spring admission. Im just ready to finally see a seat fee or get my acceptance packet in the mail.

Hey Guys! I've been checking this thread for a couple of weeks now and thought I would chime in. I've applied to the Catonsville day program and am working on applications to all the ATB programs though I'm hoping to go to Towson. I also had a hard time with CAS. I had to request copies of my transcript to be sent twice and when they still didn't receive it the second time, I had to get my former university to e-mail it. I'm still nervous I'm missing something.

I just got an email from the shp office today stating that all my requirements are fulfilled and they are reviewing my application. If you are missing anything it will say so in the email : ) but it says you must respond within 7 days of the email. Good luck everyone!

Wow, I got that same email nearly a month ago from Catonsville Nursing admissions. I guess there are some delays. I was told by admissions that we should find out hopefully by early May, so not much longer to go.

Does anyone's 'application status' say 'items outstanding' under your CCBC application summary? I don't know what else they could possibly be missing. My CAS app has been verified, they have my TEAS, I entered everything I could into the CCBC application thing in the admissions section. Freaking out. I've tried calling and no one answers.
