Hi all!! Just wondering if anyone else applied to the upcoming fall semester to CCBC? I want to get a feel of all the competition that I am up against.... LOL!
Thats annoying. In guessing noone really knows what is going on there. My status hasnt changed either and she told me dont bother checking either site to just wait for a letter. She also said therthey were still receiving applications because cas screwed things up and they are so behind making decisions
Hi all! I applied to the Essex night weekend program, along with the ATB for Frostburg. I am glad I spoke with the advisor at Frostburg, because I needed three more classes (could have been done during the program) that I didn't have with my AA degree. I am taking 3 classes in 5 weeks during summer session 1. I didn't want take them during school. I have looked, no news yet.
Anybody interested in ATB should speak with that school's advisor next week.
Hi :) I have also applied to CCBC nursing for Catonsville days. There was a little over 300 applicants for the fall, this includes both Essex and Catonsville days. The latest we will hear back is May 1, because there needs to be enough time for the ATB applicants to get their transcripts together, make their decisions on what university they want to attend, and apply. I think I've been staring at my email/ mailbox/ looking for a seat fee on my account for a week straight!
I will also be applying for the ATB program. Frostburg is my first choice, then Stevenson, then Towson, then Notre Dame (although Notre Dame does not look like they have received enough interest to carry-out the program for the fall). Most everyone who applies to the ATB program, that is qualified (has most prereqs complete, and a 3.0 GPA) will be accepted.
The CAS transcript is sent directly to the SHP, from there the admissions looks at all the applications, and ranks them in order based upon a point system. The ATB universities will be looking at the same transcript that was sent to CCBC. In order to find the GPA's that the SHP will be looking at 1.Go to your CAS application. 2. Manage my programs 3. Program status 4. Click on the blue download button (next to CCBC school of health professions). Once you have downloaded your transcript go to page 6. Here you will see your science GPA, and your overall GPA. Taken directly from the CAS F&Q's "All undergraduate, post-baccalaureate and graduate coursework is included in the overall GPA. All courses in which a letter or numeric grade was received will be included"
