  1. Hello transferstudent, welcome! and congrats on choosing nursing as your career. I am popping my head in to let you know I had a C in both a&p 1 and 2 and I got accepted : ) everyone told me I needed to "replace my C's" but the thought of taking A&P over frightened me. I did have all my classes completed before I applied though. To answer your other question I do not think they give you extra consideration if you apply early, they do give you extra consideration if you have all your courses completed though. In the CCBC catalog it tells you exactly what their process is for accepting applicants, good luck! : )
  2. Hello, I'm just gonna jump in also. Mursegeek17 is right you must score a proficient on your teas to get accepted. You also must score above a 69 on the reading portion even though it says "recommended" I know this because I was rejected the first time I applied due to a low reading score (that and I didn't get my teas in on time anyway). Now here's the good news, I got accepted this semester with only a 3.0 GPA and proficient on my teas score, I also had 2 C's in my science classes. I hope this helps! Also in regards to running out of time on the reading section, this happened to me too (that's why my reading score was below 69) the second time I took it I read the questions first then went back in the passage and found the answer, not saying this will work for everyone but that's how I brought my reading score up the second time : ) best of luck!
  3. I would love to hear feedback also, I just got accepted to the ccbc TU ATB program and so far all I know is instead of taking NURN 155 on Tuesdays at CCBC I will take a class at TU on Tuesdays. It seems like a cheaper way to get a bachelors but I have no idea how the financial aid works : / I wish there was more info on this!
  4. Omg thank you so much! I couldn't have done it without prayer and my support system. Congratulations to you for the straight A's and thank you for praying for me it means a lot, I hope you continue to do as well as you are doing. I was happy for you last semester because you were freaking out so much lol we can do it!
  5. I didn't know there was a tools for success tomorrow?
  6. What is the name of the group?
  7. Sure! That would be great
  8. Ok, thanks again!
  9. For anyone else that was at essex day orientation, the instructors said we will automatically be placed in all of our classes right? I missed that part there was so much info to take in! Thanks
  10. Thank you so much! You are a life saver, do you have to take dosage before every semester?
  11. Is the dosage class hard? I'm freaking out about it because I'm so bad at math! Thanks for all your help : )
  12. Ok that's what I thought, thanks!
  13. Does anyone know if financial aid considers the nursing program full time since it is not 12 credits? I'm just wondering if I will get my full pell grant or if it will be cut. Thanks!
  14. Congrats to you both! This is so exciting : )
  15. Congratulations! From what I understand we will have class mon-wed and clinicals on thurs and fri but I'm not 100% sure
