I have the same status on my application. At Catonsville they are not updating the status. They told me it's automatically set to show items outstanding.

Ellinor, you should try sending an email to Lois Simmons or Ebony Thomas. Both ladies work in the SHP department and are very quick to reply back to any concerns or questions you may have.

Thanks ya'll. That makes me feel a lot better, October. Did you get that information from Lois or Ebony? I have talked with Ebony several times in the past and she has been very helpful. I couldn't get a hold of anyone there yesterday afternoon, but I will go ahead and send an e-mail and see if they get back with me Monday.

I had to call because the same thing happened to me, the CAS system included a class that I retook and got an A in. They told me they do the GPA calculations differently than the CAS system and the one on CAS is not always correct. But I double checked and it was still incorrect at CCBC, so the lady at the SHP office changed it for me.

Hi all,

On my "application" found in SIMON, it went from "Complete ready for review" to "Decision Made" under application status however I do not see a seat fee or anything like that in my account. I know some people stated they were told that no one would hear until early to mid May. Wondering if anyone else experienced this. I got the e-mail from the SHP stating my application was under review on April 21st.

I'm also curious about others' credentials who applied. I have a 3.14 prereq 5 class GPA and a 3.24 10 class GPA, and I only managed a 78 on my TEAS test (98 on reading, however). In addition, I'm currently taking micro. Obviously, this isn't by any means a shoe-in and I've kind of been telling myself, I probably won't get in, and if I want to go the nursing route, I'll have to re-take some science classes/ TEAS test. It just seems like everyone who has posted their credentials, past and present, have been better. I figured that I stood a better chance getting accepted into a fall day program, considering all the other offerings during fall such as nights and weekend and the online program, so I applied to the Catonsville day program.

I got my info from both Ebony and Lois, but I would still reach out to them if I was you to just double check. I got this info from them nearly a month ago.

Hi there! I'm in a similar situation! CAS had messed up my GPA and I have been told that CCBC is looking at a different GPA. I am finishing micro now as well and I hope it won't be held against me that it isn't complete yet!

I already have my BA from UMBC and Gwyn made it seem like I was a shoe-in but I am definitely NOT feeling that way right about now!

Hi Y'all. I just checked my status this morning and it changed to 'Complete Ready for Review' from 'Items Outstanding' so I'm thrilled to see there's been progress. I also received an email on Saturday that SHP was reviewing my application. They must have been working over the weekend. Maintain and Marshall - I'm sure y'all will be fine. I know people that got accepted that were taking 2 of the required science classes. I also heard they accepted GPAs as low as 2.7 last semester. And people who made a total score of 70 on their TEAS. I also have a BA in a completely unrelated field, but I don't think they consider this at all. The only criteria are the prereqs. I have a 3.2 and an 82 on my TEAS. Hey Marshall we'll hopefully be in the same class!

Thanks for your response. Your words were very encouraging. Did the people you know get accepted this past spring? I'd think it would be even more competitive at that time because of only offering the day programs.
