Hi All!

Just sending out a good luck huzzah to everyone applying for the Spring 2015 cohort at the Community College of Allegheny County.

We can start applying tomorrow and the the deadline is August 15.

I am all done with my pre-reqs and co-reqs, so am excited to get this application process rolling. I am going tomorrow to meet with an advisor to be sure all of my ducks are in a row.

Anyone else out there applying?

So there is a mandatory registration day December 9th. The paper says: "You must CONFIRM YOUR ACCEPTANCE to this event BEFORE TUESDAY, December 9, 2014."

So so are we all supposed to email to confirm? Phone call? Anyone have insight on this?

I called in to ask a list of questions.... The nursing secretary, answered, yes a real person.... From the number listed I think at the bottom of the first age of the packet. Where it says any questions contact the nursing dept. and she is the one that confirms your date for registration. She just asked me for my name and put me down for it

Yeah it was 129$ and I think it's bull too plus 27.50$ and 10$ In addition to that for your finger prints and child abuse clearance. It's like what is the 129$ buying me then? A cyber-space to store documents? It is what it is I guess

The orientation for Boyce is November 20th... but it doesn't say anything about having to call in to confirm a registration date. I'm wondering if I should call anyway???

Probably wouldn't hurt. Our orientation for allegheny is dec. 8th or 9th and the letter in our packet said to confirm and that we won't be able to be Registered for classes if we aren't. It didn't say how to confirm (email, call, etc) but it said we had to. Yours could be different tho since it seems your registration is earlier than ours.

HELPFUL HINT: you can download a free scanner app for your smart phone called Genius Scan. You take a picture of your document with that app, and it turns it into a PDF. Then I just send it to my email, downloaded it to my PC then uploaded it into the Certified Profile account. Easier than using a scanner!

Has anyone heard about south?? im in day, i still have not received a packet, and email or anything.... i asked and was told when we decide you will know... if anyone finds out please post.. im getting worried and i dont even know y, lol

Oh my gosh! Thank you sooooo much for this. I never thought of this I already have this I used it all the time when I was taking online math to turn in my homework assignments. I was wondering how I was going to scan everything in. And to fax, you have to print each fax cover page out... thanks so much for sharing this!!
