Hi everyone! I'm new here, i'm wanting to apply to CCAC nursing program in the spring for the fall 2015. Wondering if anyone else out there is in the same boat? Or can i get some advice? I'm wondering if we're allowed to turn in reccomendations etc. I'm concerned because when i first started college i didnt care about my grades so my GPA is very low right now but i have all of the pre-reqs and co-reqs out of the way except A+P 2 and micro. Hoping to take those in the Spring/Summer. Has anyone else ever gotten in with a low GPA? Also, I keep seeing things about different campuses and people saying their "Allegheny evening" or "North Day".. where do you find out those schedules?? Thanks everyone!!
If I figured it out correctly, I had a 5.25. I transferred in all of my pre-reqs and co-reqs and just had the nursing classes left. I only took 9 credits at CCAC previously and the rest were from my Associates degree. I live in Westmoreland County, but things aren't looking too good. I am beside myself right now.
Thank you both for the kind words. I don't know if this means anything, but when I look on the CCAC portal, it has me listed as applying for Spring 2015, which isn't the case, so maybe that has something to do with it? I am definitely calling (and probably not sleeping) on Monday for some answers. I called and checked with them at least once a week until everything was received to make sure they got everything and the lady said they did, so I hope it's not an error with my transcripts and what not.
I will keep you all updated!
Got into South! I have a question though. It says South Day but I applied for evening/weekend. Does anyone else's say day? It looks like on the next page you get to choose day or evening. A friend of mines states the same and also applied for evening.
You get whatever is left available. So if there are a lot of people above you with your first choice as their first choice, they get the seats first.
