CCAC Prospective Nursing Students Fall 2015

Hi everyone! I'm new here, i'm wanting to apply to CCAC nursing program in the spring for the fall 2015. Wondering if anyone else out there is in the same boat? Or can i get some advice? I'm wondering if we're allowed to turn in reccomendations etc. I'm concerned because when i first started college i didnt care about my grades so my GPA is very low right now but i have all of the pre-reqs and co-reqs out of the way except A+P 2 and micro. Hoping to take those in the Spring/Summer. Has anyone else ever gotten in with a low GPA? Also, I keep seeing things about different campuses and people saying their "Allegheny evening" or "North Day".. where do you find out those schedules?? Thanks everyone!!

I know some students currently in the program. We should hear back before the end of the month. I think only once in the past have they gone until May, which I am hoping they do not do because I will need to apply for a ptk scholarship before may 2nd. I hope next week is the week we all get our letter!

I emailed Amber Reed to ask when letters would be mailed. Here is her response:

Letters started going out today. They will continue to go out all week. You should send me an email if you have not received a response by the beginning of next week.

I was just curious what you people think the cut off GPA is going to be? Currently, i have a 3.5 and with A's in AP1 and Micro i should be sitting around 5.0. Hopefully, this will be enough, but i'm still worried. Goodluck!

Do you know what it was in the past? Maybe they'll stick around the same amount.

Is there anyone on here that was already in CCAC nursing program and is reapplying to CCAC nursing program due to not passing? If so have you heard anything yet? If I get accepted back in will I have to buy all that stuff again?

Honestly no, but I wish i knew what they were in the past, so i'd have something to go off of
