I wonder if all the letters are mailed to from Allegheny campus? I wonder if my letter could make it over to Shadyside by next day haha I can wait until tomorrow but idk if I can make it until Monday! Congrats Green!!!!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhh I have two CCAC letters at home so it's not just the deans list letter! Lol

I got accepted into Allegheny Campus EVENING!!! I received it on Sep 27. I'm very pleased and will take the offer. Who also got accepted in the evening?

Congratulations to everyone who made it into the program and for those of you who have not received it yet, I wish that you will receive acceptance letters ! :)

On another note, I think that letters are first sent out to those that have applied earlier and it is not based on last name, because I sent in my applications on July 4 and my last name starts with an 'M'. The only reason why I received it a little later was because I live out-of-state. Not sure of this though.

I keep hearing about a second mail that will come in (in terms of background checks, health requirements, etc.) but I have not heard anything from admissions yet about that matter. I'm not sure where to look either, I already looked at the Nursing Handbook and attempted to look for specific health requirements such as what vaccinations we need. If anyone can post any information related to this it would be helpful.

Yes there will be a packet sent out with all of the steps that need to be completed. Like you said, vaccines, for cert. physicals, clearances things like that. A lot of it will have to be uploaded to this site which I heard was a pain. So happy to get stared though!

This may be too early to say but because I live out-of-state and my parents do not want me to bring my own car, I'll have to rely on public transportations and carpooling. It would be great if someone could make accomodations with me. I'm currently looking for housing that's as close to the school (walking distance) but I am aware of clinicals and that might be far from the college. Let me know if you are okay with providing carpooling, I will be forever greatful!!

Also, if you guys have already faxed your Confiming Acceptance and Functional abilities forms, you can call the school of nursing or email the other email address that the coordinator gave us in the letter if you want to confirm that they have received your forms. They respond quick! Just don't email the nursing coordinator herself because she won't respond.

Can't wait to start! ^___^

Hey guys! So it was said that Allegheny and Boyce applicants letters would be sent out 9/27 but I have still not received mine yet??? Has anyone else not received theirs either? Also, it was said that the Confirmation and Functional ability form deadline was extended to October 5th (this Friday) but if we still have not received a letter yet than how are we suppose to get it back that soon? Anyone have any advice?? I tried calling nursing admissions and it rang and rang with no voicemail :/

I'm in the same situation! She stated we would know by Saturday or Monday and it is Wednesday and I have no answer. I emailed her yesterday with no response. My only guess is that the letters more than likely were not mailed when they said they were haha. It's usually no issue regarding the deadline.
