Okay I'm glad I'm not the only one in this situation!! Lol. I tried calling nursing admissions twice this morning, both times no answer. I'm just worried and eager to get the dang letter! Hahah. It's making me nervous..

I was like Monday will be the day! Had my boyfriend stare at the mailbox all day for me while I was at work...NOTHING. I was so confident that yesterday would be the day since she said we'd know Monday latest and here it is Wednesday and nothing..I have a feeling they may have mailed everything out Monday or Tuesday. Let me know if you hear or get anything!

I hear ya! I am in the exact same boat. I've been so eager to check the mail every day and nothing. Hopefully you're right and everything was sent out Monday! Fingers crossed!! Absolutely I will, let me know too!!

I applied for CalU and I was told my letter was sent out and I have until the 10th to confirm my seat. I'm still patiently waiting!! Hopefully tomorrow is the day

One of my classmates who applied for Boyce day as first choice just called today because she hasnt received anything this is was she said

"I called and was told all letters have not been sent out. That was as of 8:15am today."

I applied to Boyce too as my first choice. Good lord. I wonder what's going on !

The coordinator has been great corresponding through email. She called last Thursday evening and unfortunately I missed her call. I then checked my email and she informed me that she didn't have my high school transcript, for whatever reason. She basically told me my application is fine otherwise and upon receiving my transcript, I would be admitted and she would send my letter although it would be delayed. I had that sent to her Friday morning and got confirmation that it was mailed and they are extending the deadline to respond to the 10th. I also spoke with the person handling the nursing program at calu and she said my name was on the list and not to stress. Hope this makes you guys feels better, fingers crossed we get something tomorrow!!! Good luck everyone!

*she* emailed me back and told me she put a new letter in the mail for me yesterday, and to let her know if I don't get it by Friday

Which doesn't give me such a great feeling, I was hoping she'd just let me know if I got in, which makes me think i didn't get in and she doesn't want to personally tell me UGHHH i need a back up plan, any ideas?! lol

Sigh... This is why I do not like notification letters through mail. Some people get it earlier, some people get it later, sometimes things get lost in mail, etc. Hoping in the future that she uses e-mail to notify students of admission status. Sorry, but the only thing you can do is wait I'm still waiting for a packet for background check, health requirements, etc. and I have no idea when I will get that, so we're kinda on the same boat.

Your back up plan could be to apply to multiple programs and retake your TEAS if it isn't high. Some schools may require a minimum of 70% to apply but will often accept applicants who have a score of 78% or higher. Maybe even take HESI so u can apply to more schools in the case you dont get accepted at CCAC. I made sure that I applied to multiple programs myself so that I'm not as stressed if I find that one school rejected me. Consider retaking prerequisite courses to bump up your GPA if you didn't do so hot in them. But if you are previously an LVN, I don't see why she would not accept you! You'll be more prepared than I am since I don't even have a degree (:

Looking back on threads from previous classes, it looks like the packets will come around the end of this month. I'm not 100% about that but that's around the time they came for the 2018 spring class.

I'm sure you got in!! I just received my letter yesterday which was missing the forms to fill out and fax back but I got that taken care of. I'm thinking she wants to hear back from you by Friday so you can claim your seat.
