CCAC FALL 2017 nursing admissions, anyone hear anything yet?

Published

Hey all ! Just wanted to start a new thread to discuss any replies for admittance to CCAC FALL 2017 nursing school! Has anyone heard back yet? I applied in person at CCAC Allegheny after MLK day. I know they extended the application deadline, so I am hoping they need more people and that we may find out sooner than April 2017. On the edge of my seat!! My poor postman! I am behaving like another student mentioned on this site, like I am trying to find out if I won the "Golden Ticket" for the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory. Much nail-biting happening! Anyone hear results back yet? This is one of my first posts, and I planted it in a few areas, to see if it gets responses, so please pardon the repeated posts.

I was wondering the same thing. Where are you going to start at?

I am starting Allegheny Evening. I honestly want to budget what I need to purchase early on, before the big school supply and textbook haul. Looking for good deals on scrubs, stethescope, etc. Trying to save as much as possible, wish I could get an idea.

Where are you starting @Shadaya H ?

I'm starting at Boyce, fast track. I've been accepted into a program called HPOG. It's a federally funded program. Fortunately they are providing me a gas card, uniform, stethoscope, shoes, etc.

Congratulations on Boyce fast track. That sounds like an incredible program you were accepted into. Having those items paid for is amazing.

Yes, takes a load off of me. And CONGRATULATIONS to you as well!!

you should have gotten a letter stating orientation dates with your acceptance letter but then again maybe it does depend on campus

Are you going to Boyce?

Thanks. I didn't receive a letter with orientation dates. We had to accept a seat first.

Oh sorry!

You are fortunate. I just e-mailed Amber Reed as a precaution. There was no set date for the arrival of orientation dates or information packets. I just hate everything being handled by snail mail. I really wish we could shed more light on the process, instead of "wait and see". :/
