CCAC FALL 2017 nursing admissions, anyone hear anything yet?

Hey all ! Just wanted to start a new thread to discuss any replies for admittance to CCAC FALL 2017 nursing school! Has anyone heard back yet? I applied in person at CCAC Allegheny after MLK day. I know they extended the application deadline, so I am hoping they need more people and that we may find out sooner than April 2017. On the edge of my seat!! My poor postman! I am behaving like another student mentioned on this site, like I am trying to find out if I won the "Golden Ticket" for the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory. Much nail-biting happening! Anyone hear results back yet? This is one of my first posts, and I planted it in a few areas, to see if it gets responses, so please pardon the repeated posts.

Is anyone else still waiting for their letter? Ugh this is so frustrating. Does anyone have an orientation date yet? So I know at least what's going on ? I just want to know!

I e-mailed Amber Reed. She gave me a contact for Allegheny Campus nursing. The secretary is Connie Trama.

Her number is 412-237-2680. I left a message, about inquiry into Allegheny campus nursing orientation packets.

No word yet. Any allegheny campus nursing students get their packet yet?

I am accepted into the allegheny campus day program too! I am so nervous. Did you hear anything about our background check, or going to meet with advisor about our classes yet?

I just got my packet for Allegheny campus today!! check your mail everybody!! All info you need and questions you may have are neatly compiled. Things just got real!!

When you applied in person, did they just scan in your application? I handed in my application and the secretary just left it on her desk and said she'd scan it in later. It's freaking me out

When I applied in January I handed in my physical application into the office. She did not scan it in front of me, but set it aside. She was helping other students check in. Hope this helps.

I turned mine in and they did not scan it in front of me. I turned mine in at the end of January. When did you turn yours in?

Hi everyone. Hope all well.... I am looking to making a career switch to nursing... I might be moving to live with my brother at Pittsburgh in a few months. is anatomy/ physio a prerequisite or part of the program ? A and P 1 and 2 are pre reqs and yes take them and the program at ccac it's cheapest!

You can take all the ancillary classes outside of the program. A an p 1 & 2, micro, human growth and development and your math and English. They have the program outline on ccac website to follow. You can and should take all classes outside the program you can. Most people do it that way and you get a gpa bump for some of them depending on grades 'received towards the application process.

What is HPOG? I just applied for the boyce fast track lpn-rn program and could use help paying for it :)
