Good morning future CRNAs! I know we're all eager and awaiting interview letters from CWRU so I wanted to start a forum/thread so we can all keep each other informed.
Just now, SuccinylColace said:So when I was scheduling my interview I counted how many slots there were. I saw that the latest slot was the 18th or 19th. And I am figuring 4 per slot. So my guess is 19 slots x four applicants. I could be way off though maybe some slots had 3 ppl only and maybe some had 5 or 6? Unless some time slots were longer, it would seem hard to fit 6 ppl into them. So that's my best educated guesstimation
Gotcha! I thought about doing the same thing haha. But I do think they added an extra interview day. Someone I know is interviewing on the 5th. The original email said that interviews ended the 30th. So I’m not sure what’s up with that

Right! It wasn’t originally as far as I know. My friend had issues with receiving an interview offer (never heard anything either way) and then contacted them and then they offered the interview on the 5th. So I don’t know if they are interviewing extra people or what. I guess they said that they had issues with sending out invitations for interviews
They told me they were interviewing more than 80 people but didn’t have a count. The students also said that they currently have 30 students in their class. So if I had to guess, I would say we have about a 1 in 3 shot. If they’re doing interviews Monday, I would guess we will find out Wednesday.

Really? I'm guessing Saturday. Technically still the same week

@IcuRNx calling you and burn guy out ??
hey hey hey, burn lady! ?
Sorry, I have been drowning in nerves between Case's interview yesterday and I am prepping for Akron's interview tomorrow! As far as Case's interview, it definitely was not what I was expecting. They asked me very broad questions and kind of just let me ramble on about them, no direction, no additional questions to lead conversation. It was either I knew it or did not. I felt like I didn't do so hot because I really tried to throw out the answer they were looking for instead of outright saying I don't know. I think I said I didn't know once, every other question I tried to give as much info I could. They really only asked me a handful of clinical questions, even more math questions. I think I did better in the emotional intelligence portion to be honest. I'm just glad its over!
Dude, you are preaching to the choir about some of the prompts being directionless. I remember one specific question where I just rambled and hoped the answer was in one of the things I mentioned. I just had another interview today too, so I understand the pressure with back to back interviews. Praying for us!!
