Case Western CWRU DNP CRNA 2021 Class

U.S.A. Ohio

Good morning future CRNAs! I know we're all eager and awaiting interview letters from CWRU so I wanted to start a forum/thread so we can all keep each other informed.

Anyone interview on the 23rd? How did it go?! Goodluck!!

So I had a mock interview today. I'd really recommend it if possible. It's not that she asked questions I didn't expect (even though I couldn't answer all of them). It was like, what I could answer on the spot was only like 75-80% of what I knew I had read on some of the questions, or I had t to work through being nervous in order to answer them. So, getting this first practice was totally worth it and I've taken off enough anxiety and now I can really get out of my head these last few days and tighten up everything.

Mock interview through case? How’d you set it up? I had my interview today it was pretty rough!

I had mine today as well and it was definitely tough! I think more so than what I was expecting. But it’s over and now we just have to wait on the results!

Without giving too much away, they had set questions they asked. I expected it to be more guided by what I do and said. It was very much either you know it or you don’t. But the faculty was very nice!

My mock interview was not through Case LOL, I wish. Another ICU nurse I knew quizzed me

Yes and no. Overall it was but the questions they asked me were on certain medications I very rarely deal with. I mean any medication is fair game so I’m not upset but I definitely studied the ones I use a lot more in depth if that makes sense

It was awful.  I definitely feel like I bombed that part.  At least it’s over and we get to hear soon.

It definitely could have gone better haha. I’m glad I’m not the only one feeling like it was tough! I heard that they were making it harder this year to be more competitive against akron

Guys, I'm so sorry to hear that was your experience. Definitely more nervous now, but I hope come 2-3weeks from now, we are all getting admission offers ?

It's okay! It sounds like everyone else kinda feels the same about it. If anything, it showed me what I need to work on for other interviews. But good luck! Hopefully they look at everything and not just a few mishaps during the interview to decide if they want to admit us or not!
