I was accepted to both Case and Akron, I chose Akron as well. Looks like we’ll be classmates.

I interviewed on 9/30, I was accepted on Tuesday. I know multiples declined or will decline based on other schools, so if you haven’t heard, just hang in there. I declined my spot and two others I know.

Akron’s decisions came today as well. I think they are probably waiting for more responses based on that.

More case decisions were made!

They told me they were interviewing more than 80 people but didn’t have a count. The students also said that they currently have 30 students in their class. So if I had to guess, I would say we have about a 1 in 3 shot. If they’re doing interviews Monday, I would guess we will find out Wednesday.

It says the week of October 5th on the paper. Let’s hope it’s the beginning of the week!

I had mine this afternoon. I thought it went well overall. I didn’t have difficulty with the meds, but I did answer one question wrong. It’s hard not to panic and to remember to think it through. I made a big mistake by not telling them I wasn't sure or by coming back to it and answering once I realized. It was not as hard as I expected so that is good. But I could overanalyze all day. They were all very nice. I wonder what day next week we find out.

Interview invites went out!

We do 6 week schedules. I am currently scheduled half way through October. I am just going to have to adjust my schedules and trade to make it all work. We do 6 week rotations of days and nights for the rotators. I am straight dayshift though. And charge is probably good on your cv, but I would imagine a large number of candidates are charge nurses on their units. Not sure, just a guess.
