This is my second semester in a four semester program. The nursing school is having a career fair Monday and will have several area hospitals to talk to us. Our instructor said to wear business clothing and to consider bringing a resume.
I realize the chance to network is good. It just seems so early to be trying to get a job.
Would you/did you go to one?

Why not? Even if you don't take a resume, it's never bad to hear what they have to say.

It's a good opportunity to ask questions about the hiring process -- even if you won't be formally applying right away.

Well worth it to float around with ears and eyes open. Look for what not to do as well as what to do.

I went last year and I graduate this year. It gave me an idea of what to expect and what kinds of jobs were out there. We also had 4 yr schools there recruiting transfers. It was interesting and an opportunity for local places to sell themselves to you.
