I emailed you

Apparently they require at least 850 on the HESI or else you have to take the entire CLASS all over again.

The people at the school are wonderful and very helpful. It seems like an incredibly tough program to get through though.

Good idea! Sorry for all the typos. I’m literally only going because I’m coming from a different program and I’m looking to finish quickly.

Did you ever follow through. I’m thinking of going?

I’m currently still attending the school, I have one more semester left. I promise I will update this thread according to my progression in the RN program.
A few highlights:

Professors are fine, we review PowerPoints and watch videos from 9am to 2pm most days. I have a HESI coming up for Mental Health which I’m looking forward to.

Student portal and resources are easy to navigate

My school advisor is always just a call away (I really appreciate this)

overall, I’m feeling optimistic yet sometimes nervous because I just want to ensure I do what I need to do to finish.

again, I will update this thread accordingly as time passes.

Also, I am a super over thinker and over analyzer so I’ve been monitoring the schools accreditation process and approvals.

The school is on track to institutional accreditation **see photos** (needs programmatic but institutional is a start)

(there should be an approval decision some time in January 2022, fingers crossed)

**see photos**

Also, the school is recognized/approved by other BONs -Maryland for example-

you can go online to the MD BON and look at the out of state approved school list, it was approved July 2021

**see photos**

**All documents are available to the public and can be found with a focused search**

Thank you so much you have no idea how much your response helps me in my decision to go here. Thank you again

Hi

thank you I am hoping to apply fir the January 2022 class . Can I ask how did you only have to do 2 semesters? I have all my prerequisites but it’s looking like 5 modules ( semesters) . Also you have to score a 850 on each HESI from each class that’s completed ?  If the 850 HESI score isn’t completed do you get put out ? How are the exams overalls ?

 Hi did you attend

Hello I just joined this thread and I wanted to find out information about Care hope as well. I am hopefully starting in January 2022. So far I like the feed back from reading the thread. How is it so far at CHC?

No institutional accreditation is NOT a start. REgional and Programmatic approval are what the school needs to establish a reputation for graduating competent nurses. This proposed institutional accreditation is just for students to take out loans. It does not endorse the rigor or quality of the program in terms of teaching nurses.

Here is the quality:

NCLEX pass rates as reported on the FBON - US in general runs about 80% (I guess someone has to be on the bottom: Care Hope. - looking at you)
21- 60%

20 - 50%

19- 100%

Another bad year and they may be on probation
