Can't stop talking about nursing school?

Hello,

Is anyone out there like me. I am a prenursing student hoping to start LPN program in Jan 09. I just can't stop talking about nursing school. It's like I am one of those new mom who just can't shut up about their and new baby. I know it must get to my husband, friend, family and co workers. The thing is that I am always at school or study for my prereq classes any advice on how to start new converstation. ( I think I forgot)

Nursing school dreams ... we're in the honeymoon stage I think :) ...

I wish I could roll out of bed tomorrow and start working as a nurse, this was something I should have been doing 20 years ago but I guess I have to keep waiting .. :( ... soon enough I will be able to add RN to my name and then I will feel complete ...

I know how you all feel! :)

Oh this is so me !!!! I won't give up no matter what hurdles are thrown in front of me ! So to every one DON"T GIVE UP !!!! We will be nurses one day !!! :up::up::up:

my spouse is the same way he even says I spend too much time on this site . i just can't help it

Ditto !!! I spend alot of time on this site and Disney sites. The Disney relaxes me when I'm getting obsessed with nursing. I HAVE AN ADDICTION !!!! PLEASE HELP ME !!! :D

OMG!!! I'm so the same way. My family is ready to strangle me any day now. They can't do anything without me warning them or stopping them from doing something.(you know nursing stuff) I start NS Aug.17 and I am so excited and nervous. :heartbeat:wink2:

Not only do I talk about nursing school way to much, I talk about allnurses with poeple who have no idea what it is!

:yelclap: That was soo funny. It's true maybe like 1-2 people in my school know what allnurses.com is...LOL...I'm sorry I can't stop laughing. Well hey I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. I said out loud "oh that's like allnurses.com," because someone was talking about blogging on some site about healthcare/nursing stuff (it wasn't allnurses.com) and this girl sitting next to me was like, "what's that." I guess it's just so weird for someone to not know what it is because I blog on here and post threads all the time.
