Hi there, I am a Canadian LPN, I have finished my schooling and been working for the last almost two years. I am considering moving to Minneapolis but it is quite confusing as to were to start with licensing, and all of the immigration stuff, does anyone have any information that could start me in the right direction?

Welcome
You may find you have issues as a LPN as usually you need RN for TN visa. You need to meet requirements of BON, pass NCLEX then apply for a visa screen certificate, have job offer then go to the border to obtain TN. I would suggest a search in this and the International forum. Here are a couple I found

Be aware that as an LPN, that license does not qualify for a visa to work in the US. You must have the RN after your name for either the green card or the TN visa.
Even if you go thru the process of licensure and even getting the VSC, there is no visa that is available for you.
You may see some postings about the H2-b, but that is not for nurses and only for unskilled laborers and is considered immigration fraud. There just is not a visa available as there is no shortage of LPN/LVNs in the US.
You may wish to consider a bridge program for the RN that will take you only a year or so and then you will have the ADN and meet the requirements for the TN Visa since there are no green cards available now.

I find this discussion very interesting.
There have been American recruiters visiting the college here that educates PN offering jobs down south. A co-worker that graduated recently was approached. She has no desire to go south and just brushed them off.
