Can Rittenhouse Become a Nurse?

Published

Now that he has been acquitted, he says he just wants to go back to school and become a nurse.

Do you think that is a viable career path for him, even after being found 'not guilty'..?

Good for you. This particularly person has a pretty long history of abusive, right-wing off-topic attack posts that would be better served on another site than one supposedly dedicated to nursing and nurse issues. Also keep in mind that not everyone on here is in fact a nurse since there's nothing in place that actually verifies us as nurses unlike a lot of websites for health professionals. This kind of discourse that allnurses seems to approve of is exactly why I've ghosted the site for years: frequently completely lacking in any professional benefit, with threads devolving into trolling. Which brings me to another point that people are paid to put out garbledygook trolling on other websites so why not here too?

In any case, yep...it's not worth the energy engaging anyone who is clearly disingenuous and not here for actual nursing content or discourse. Nor is it worth engaging IRL either... I was minding my own business a few weeks ago, about to pick up some dinner, and some lunatic got into my space, upset I was wearing a mask. To walk into a place that specifically requested masking, in a city that still requires masking. When I refused to engage him, it made him furious. He started getting really abusive and threatening, bullying, whatever. I told him, I am minding my own business and if you don't leave me alone, I'll call the police. Weirdo even tried to follow me home. I let him know, I had no interest in wasting my time with him, and if he didn't leave me alone, the police could deal with him. When it became clear I meant it, and I started to call the police, he buggered off. And that's how we ought to deal with it, offline and online. I've got better things to do with my time.

Good. Can't handle diverse opinions? Leave because I'm not going anywhere! Don't forget your mask!

Because you a white man can tell me? You a white person get to decide who's a POC and isn't? Wow.  Do you see how incredible racist YOU are. I can't possibly be s POC because I don't subscribe to the Marxist doctrine known as the democratic party?  I'm projecting my color on to you? It's seems you are taking my color away because I do not agree with you or your opinion of what a POC should be or think?

No. You misunderstand.  I don't get to decide who is a person of color, I get to decide who is credible or believable in these threads...your remarks are neither credible or believable. The quoted comment is an example of your agitated tendency to throw around trigger words in right wing commentary...the misuse of words is a famous tactic of propagandists and authoritarians.

The opinions that you share here aren't an example of diverse thinking.  Rather they are generally representative of boiler plate divisive nonsense straight from the propaganda mill that is poisoning conservatives. How clever of you to suggest that others should leave...

No … you seem to have resumed arguing that being a POC should insulate you from disagreement or criticism … that the color of your skin is more important than the content of your thinking. Somehow, the color of your skin validates all the right wingnuttery you parrot. Classic wingnut assumption about liberals’ attitudes: that we will allow skin color to trump logic and justify your attempts to bully those who disagree with you.

It’s all just too on the nose. Like the users who claim advanced degrees in order to validate posting misinformation, none of your claims are credible.

None.

No. You are wrong. I donot think that my opinion as a POC or another POC has any more credibility because of the color of their skin. I use that as an example of the ridicoulas ideas of far left dems that a person especially white man can have nothing to say because of the color of their skin in relation to a POC. Complete garbage.

I usually don't disclose my race because it shouldn't matter. However in previous threads it was assumed I was white because of my opinions. Also I was miss gendered too because of my tone, I think. Both assumptions stereotypical I the least. . That's why I disclosed.

Seems outrageous when left wing rhetoric is used against the left wing doesn't it. That's evident in the tone and content of your opinion.

You have no legit argument to refute my opinions so the first thing you have to do is discredit me. So you implied I am not a POC. Instead of submitting "facts" that you demand so often.

K. You think I'm not a POC because I do not think like a POC should(which is racist), and you obviously think I'm not credible and have no facts. So. Refute my claims with your facts and try really hard not to think of my race or anyone else's either. I know this will be a  challenge as a Democrat because identity politics run deep within the left. So much so racism is perpetrated without even continously knowing its occurring while claiming to be "anti racist"

If I'm such a dishonest liar fake POC then it should be easy to refute me!

In which you apparently agree from your comments. However the fact you do not believe I'm a poc is actually racist or stereotypical in the least.

You tell me tho if I've said the things I've said but reversed to races that I would still be on this forum! No. The fact I am a POC has indeed isolated me from being kicked off for racism. There  have been many racist comments about white people Not even reported.

Then take aim at my credentials in which you can't prove yourself anymore than I can. Advanced degrees? WtH are you even talking about?
