Getting To Great

Hello,
I live here in Queens and I was also looking into the LPN program CANN in NJ. The only problem that I had with the school is the tuition! The $20K is ridiculous, but if anyone is able to afford it go ahead. It seems like a very good program. Anyway, there is a bus that you have to take from Port Authority-Time Square that will take you directly to the program. You should call the school the school and ask them for more details or check the website. Did you take the HESI exam yet. If not, they will send you an attachment of practice test via email. Just make sure you ask them.
Good Luck

I live in Brooklyn (Flatbush) and I go to the school up the road from CAN. I'm less than 5 minutes away and I pass CAN to and from School. The bus from Port Authority or the bus from George Washington Bridge will take you right there. I give myself upwards of two hours for the commute but usually it takes me and hour and 15 minutes in the mornings and an hour and a half for the commute home in the afternoon.s
@scorpionightnurse at what time do you normally get off from school..and thanks for your info!
A Junie bug, I know its expensive but financial aid covers some of it and for the most part you have to take loans out..but sometmes thats just what you have to do to get in , all the privcate schools are expensive and the cuny are ridiculous to get in to. Well Good luck , I am already scheduled to be in the Jan 2011 class.

I'm currently a student at this school and would not recommend this school to anyone! You're better off attending a community college.
A Dani ..why don't you like it? and what makes it so bad..out of curiosity did they also make you take out a loan?
True...You have to look what in your best interest. I met a mature lady from Queens who informed me that a few of her classmate rotate who live in Brooklyn and Queens) with their vehicles to commute to NJ.
Good Luck on your future endeavors.
Why? What happened? Don't let your experience interfere with the potential students who want to attend the program. If you want to share your issues that will be great for the next one to keep a look out for on what may have happened with your experience and/or the school.
