Specializes in Acute Care, Rehab, Palliative.

In order to obtain a nursing license in the US you would need theory and clinical hours in adult, peds, OB and mental health nursing. With no nursing education you could not work as a nurse.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Meeting state requirements will be hard because as mentioned the US nurse training is general and unless you have hours both clinical and theory as mentioned in previous post you may find you are denied application. Also suggest you read up on retrogression as there is a 6 plus year wait for immigrant visa and passing NCLEX and meeting state requirements doesn't give permission to work a work or immigrant visa will be required
