I have 1 bs in business - I have already taken out loans for the 1st degree - Any tips on scholarships to help pay for BSN at a private school? $10,000 per semester - this is the only school close to me. Everything else is about 2 hrs away. Websites? Tips?

Private schools tend to give out a lot of scholarships to its students. Their financial aid dept would be your best bet.

omg. only $10k. you lucked out. mine is somewehre around 15-20k/semseter :(

look into loans and scholarships if you have good grades :)

My school gave out scholarships each semester..but the thing is, our school never made it well known to people. I had to go around asking the dean, etc. about scholarship opportunities and grants. Turns out good grades paid off...and actually after my scholarships from school, grants, and state scholarships, I was getting a check in the mail for $1600 at the end of the semester a couple of times. Other times, my tuition was 99% paid and I had to pay maybe $300-500 a semester. Not thousand..hundred. Just ask around your school, they have money and are willing to give it out haha.

Thanks you! I have pretty good grades 3.6 from juco and 3.3 from 1st degree. Thanks!

Nursing Candidate Program in Army, Navy, or Airforce. Or if you enlist after graduation I think they offer loan repayment options. My school is $35k per year, I made a very bad decision three years ago to attend & now I am up to my eyeballs in debt. $10k is a very good deal, have you filled out the FAFSA?

Personally, I would move and go to a state school if you don't have a guaranteed scholarship. $10,000/semester is a ton of money to pay back.
