Can I get some info on CCC- online

I need some information on CCC- online. I am interested in taking some math classes there. But I am having a hard time getting my application submitted. I want to know if you test online or go to a testing center. Cost, things such as that. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with this deal.I guess one of my most important questions ,did anyone have trouble transfering these credits? Thank you in advance....:)

Do the CCC Online A&P, micro and chem include the 1 credit hours for lab?

The A&P and Microbiology are 4 semester hrs credit at CCC Online. So, you get 3 hrs for class and 1 hr for lab.

Hi Denise,

I am currently taking Algebra through CCC online. It has been a good experience so far. The class, was I think $450, and the text book $140. I did not have to take an entrance test because I already have a bachelors degree. I think if you have taken a Math90 class, you do not have to take an entrance test to enroll in a Math90 class. The instructor we have is great and she is flexable and lets people take the test after the due date if necessary. Its nice because you get a chance to take each test 2 times and the instructor drops your lower score each week. Its a lot of work though, each test has been taking me about 4 hours. You just take the test at home, no need to go to a library or anything, so that is nice.

Thank you so much, this is exactly the info I needed. I cant seem to get ahold of these people to ask what kind of pretesting is required to the college. I have already been accepted just need further info on testing.

Hi Denise,

I also had trouble to doing my application online. I actually ended up calling the school and talking to someone on the phone. I was unable to submit my application or register for a class online. They said it was because you need to do it via phone if you are enrolling in a class that has pre-requisites (Math90 level). Once I spoke to them, they were very nice. I faxed over my transcripts and everything has worked smoothly from there.

Does anyone know if colleges in Indiana accept credit from this online program? Also how did you get financial aid already having an undergrad degree?

Yes, I applied for FA and received it. I had to write a letter because I already have an undergrad degree but the committee approval it.

I only attended this college for pre-reqs online. It worked great for me. However, I am in Accelerated BSN program in Philadelphia, PA for 11 months. I did not have any plans to move to Denver. I have the t-shirt for living in the MidWest and would not do that again.

The best way to know is to contact a couple of schools in Indiana that you are interested in attending. They should accept them but double check to be sure.
