hi i'm a newly graduate and a local board passer here in the philippines..... i'm having difficulties looking a job here in our country, i almost spent my savings applying to any hospital i know, but still there is no single ring i heard to my telephone...huhuhu =( can any one help me to my problem in looking a job here so that i can have a good experience in a hospitals:o:bowingpur:nurse:????

Fellow PAF-hired Nurses:

According to PAF (c/o Mrs. Belando), we have additional requirements: Chest Xray, Drug Test Results and Medical Certificate. We may secure these at any hospitals and/or diagnostic centers (they don't have a list of accredited institutions). We can submit them on our contract signing day, June 12. Call time is at 6am, please come wearing white tshirt and pants (didn't say if 'maong' or anything). For more details, please contact PAF.:redbeathe

im about to start working in a call center on the 22nd... but i would really like to try this.

According to PAF (I called this morning), they are in the process of consolidating papers/document requirements of all hired nurses and is still trying to check if they still have vacancies to any of their Air Bases. They put interviews on hold as of the moment and not sure when they will resume (if ever). If you want, you can give them a ring tomorrow to verify.

thank you messageinthebox. what is their landline number so I can call them. BTW, do know any hospital that rae now currently accepting nursing applicat even for manpooling and those conducting trainees for nurses. thank you very much

Hello fayemarian,

Yes there is a Kalayaan 2009 Job Fair on June 12 at Quirino Grandstand. June 12 for government jobs, June 13 for private corp. jobs, and June 14 for overseas jobs. I don't know what time they will be starting but we were advised to go there at 6am. Hope to see you there!
