Mine is 50.53 and I called the lady at admissions again today and she rechecked for me and said I was in the range.

The lady in the nursing department told me your either in or your not. There is no in between. She said there is no waiting list and there is no alternative list. You either get a rejection letter or you get accepted. Since your only a point behind me I feel pretty hopeful for you. I would think that she wouldn't give me false information..

Hopefully my message will put some minds at ease. If your index score is 60 or above, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. I will go as far to say if you are as low as 57.5, there is a huge possibility you are good also.

The only thing that may hurt a person's chance is if you did not make A's in A&P I/II and Micro. Anything less than an A takes points away from your index. All other factors simply add points to your index. I know the waiting game seems so awful and cruel but please trust me, try to calm your nerves and save that energy for when you actually start the program. You will definitely need it!!!

Also, when the calls go out, the number will NOT be blocked. It will be from one of the secretaries in the Nursing Dept. and of course the number will be 555-....

Again, good luck to everyone and I hope everyone's dream of being accepted for the Fall comes true.

Thanks so much. I'm so anxious it's crazy? we all are. I just worry about the number of overall apps. So many people such good grades. They really should call soon.

FutureRN I also worry about the over all applicants. I have been in classes with some very competitive students. To choose only 60 has me a bit on edge.

I just called the Nursing School and asked when we should expect to hear if we are accepted. The lady who answered the phone told me we will receive a phone call sometime this month if accepted. No timetable just sometime this month.

So we hope it is true that rejection letters have been sent out and take comfort in the fact we have not received one. I will stil be hesitant when looking in the mailbox until I know for sure.

Sometime this month? ?I can't take it y'all. I'm staying away from this blog until I get a letter or a call. I have gray hair dedicated to this stuff!
