My biggest fear is now that pre reqs are finished, and I have made it into the program I will find out that nursing isn't for me. That i have wasted two years studying to get into a nursing program and when I go to clinical I just can't handle it! Then what????

Turned in all my paper work today. My file is complete! Now just waiting for orientation :)

Did my drug test yesterday. There were 17 people in the waiting room, standing room only! I would suggest not putting it off thinking you will be right in and out. It took several hours!

I get my physical tomorrow. I have priced books, and looked at uniforms, but I too am waiting. There are so many books and I don't want to purchase any I won't NEED. I am getting very excited and ready to get back I to class.

I am not eligible for any grants or loans either. It is all out of pocket. I am busting my butt to keep my grades high and I made it into the program on my first try. I have seen so many students receiving federal assistance who don't give 100%, so they retake the same class several times on the governments money. It is sad because they don't know how lucky they are and the rest of us struggle to pay.

Just happened to log on to SW web site, our books are listed. Wow, will we really use all of those? Time to start looking for the best price I can find!

I carry ear plugs with me just for that reason.

I can check CPR off my list of things to do. One step closer :)

Has any one else signed up for CPR?

I had no problem with the cprcrew website. I was on it today paying for the class I am taking on May 31.

Olivia I am so sorry you are going thru all this uncertainty. It just isn't right. They should find a way to call every one on the same day. Hugs....

I have been wondering what order they are calling as well. I agree with the other posters I dont understand why it takes so long to make 60 calls.
