Calling all Southwest Tennessee Community College 2012 Fall Hopefuls

The deadline to apply is February 1, 2012. How many are applying? I thought I would start a thread so we can all wait together, and get to know each other. I finished my special application today and will turn it in tomorrow at the start of the spring semester. Good luck to everyone!

They only accept 60 but I am wondering how many are on that list too she didn't give me the chance to ask that question

Annae2012 my are crossed for you as an alt. If they know who is in I wish they would let us all know so the waiting could stop.

If I get accepted (my index score was 56.43) I will not be going so your one step closer already!!!... I have a feeling there are only like 10 15 on alternative list bc in the spring I was ranked 78 and I was flat out rejected.

I just called Southwest Nursing and they said there is not an alternative list.

What she told me yesterday was that they kept my file but I was not in the top 60

Idk what that means then.. I wish they would just hurry up and call too! This is getting ridiculous!

My understanding is that if any of the top 60 decide they no longer want to be in the program then they contact the alternate which is the first highest index score that didn't make it in.They do that until the 60 slots have been filled. Maybe they said they don't have an alternate list because it would be evey applicant that isn't the top 60.

I'm curious what is the average lowest score to get in. My index score is 64.25, was wondering what everyone else on this board's index score is.
