I need some critiquing for my letter!! Anyone! Good and bad I want to hear it all. To Whom it May Concern, My name is Olivia K....h and I was previously in the Fall 2012 nursing program. I would like to formally apologize on my previous failures and dismissal from the program. At the time, I was working five days a week, had three small children at home, and I did not know what I was getting myself into. I decided to wait until my children were school aged until I were to reapply into the nursing program. After my dismissal from the program, I started working for a hospital in registration within the Emergency Department. Working around the clinical staff has given me a better understanding of what nurses do, what is expected from them, and how they fit into the healthcare field. Towards the end of the Spring semester following my dismissal, I enrolled into the Emergency Medical Technician, Fast - Track Summer program, and in August of 2013 I received my technical certificate from Southwest for EMT and my Tennessee State License for EMT - IV. One of the many perks of working in the medical field, as you may know, is the ability to fit a full time work schedule into only three short days a week. With this being said, my work schedule gives me several more free days a week to fit in school and study time. Another benefit of waiting until this semester to reapply is that this year my daughters have started kindergarten and my son is now in preschool. As you can see, I have a much better understanding of what I am getting myself into as far as the work load is concerned as well as what nurses actually do, my work schedule is not nearly as demanding as it was once, and all three of mine and my husband's children are currently enrolled in school. I would like to respectfully ask for readmission into the nursing program so I can earn the degree I most desire. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Olivia K....h, EMT-IV

If you sign in under PAWS it's in your course content. Since class technically started today your finally able to view all of the courses on your course home. I printed all of the syllabi tonight. WARNING: It is A LOT of paper!! lol.

I went to Landau today and got my scissors and id badge clip. I had already gotten my stethoscope and bp cuff from Identity Factor in Bartlett/Cordova. Landau didn't give me a discount :-/ but it was only like $12. I am so excited to start classes Monday! What's everyone's schedule? Mine is MT 9:45-11:45 & W 3-5 I also have a Sunday clinical. Which a friend of mine said that last year the Sunday clinicals were at The Med and Meth University? So I guess we'll see! I haven't gotten my uniform yet but I was going to wait since we have until October to get them.

I mean.. I have a feeling its going to last all day but I don't see how it could unless they're giving a tour? 5 hours is a long time when it comes to talking.

I have a feeling its going to last all day. I love the Macon campus library but the union campus is set up for nursing/allied health students. Like for example they have special programs on their computers for nursing students. They have a very quiet upstairs area.

Only a few days left until orientation! I am so excited to FINALLY get our class schedule and to get a glimpse of what's to come. It's been a really long summer and I don't know about y'all but I tried enjoying it to the fullest! Its getting harder and harder the closer we get. Can't wait to see y'all on Thursday!

I wonder if we could go sign the package today even though some of us are scheduled for Friday?? My inpatients are kicking into gear again! lol!!

I called her again yesterday to ask if she finished. I know.. I'm inpatient. Lol. But she said that she has a couple left and that she's been so busy and hasn't been able to get to all of them in a timely manner. I went back to every one who posted their index score and it kinda seems like she started at the first of the list and is working her way down. But she did say it was only a couple. So.. trying not to get my hopes up about today or anything. :-\ this is just crazy.
