Hi, I am about to complete my LVN program in 1 month and would like to get into a private college bridge program. I am curious as to if any of the schools you are attending are planning on starting one sometime soon or at all. Thanks for your help. Oh yeah im in Southern california.

There's a private LVN-to-RN program in Visalia (central California) called San Joaquin Valley College, if you are willing to relocate for school.

I am in the same boat as you. Unfortunatley, there is no private program here in southern california other than Kaplan College. It's in san diego and you need no pre reqs. It's called their step program for lvn's who want to bridge over. I was kinda bummed when I found out that west coast doesn't have a bridge program anymore. Good luck and keep in contact you you find anymore info!

I went to denver school of nursing for my bridge. Out of my class there were about 12 people who moved just for the bridge then moved back. Most came from Cali.
What school did you go to? If you dont mind me asking?
Sounds like fall went to Denver School of Nursing.
Do you know if it was a difficult program to get into?
Don't know anything about it. If I recall correctly, somebody mentioned it and either they were saying it is very expensive or they said it was a poorly run program. Don't quite remember. I would do a search on this site to see if you can find posts about it.
Thanks...ill do some research:nurse:
Yipee! Ha! Yeah I kinda figured that's the replies I would get. I called one school in costa mesa about 2 months ago and they said they think they are going to start one in like a year so. Im supposed to call back in like another month to see their progress. Maybe I'll wait for that or just bite the bullet and relocate. This totally sucks. Thanks to all.
