I am a home health nurse and part-time case manager. I also work as an independent contractor doing health exams and immunizations.
Ummmmm . . . yes. It was one of the hardest things I've done. I was a single parent with no family support. Trying to make ends meet while going to school, never having enough time for my daughter, or for work, or for my studies really was the difficult part. The flaky teacher who said one thing and did the opposite and also happened to be the head-honcho, that was difficult. The coursework--not so much.
Let's see--briefly in long-term care, acute cardiac/tele, education, L&D, travel nurse, dialysis, freelance medical journal editing, now home health. That's 8, but some of those are working 2 jobs at the same time.
