Hey everyone! I wanted to start the thread for the Spring 2024 applicants for Stanislaus's BSN program. It's pretty early but it might be helpful to be able to talk to each other during the application process.

Hi! Is anyone here finished the bilingual proficiency test? I have been contacting a professor to test my second language skills, but not receiving a response from her... Maybe I should have done this earlier since all professors are having Summer breaks ?

I don't think you need a bilingual proficiency test when applying for the BSN program. I think you only need someone to fill out the bilingual proficiency form.

does anyone know around what time decisions come out? and if they go to our personal or student email?

Nice to meet you!! I have a question, for Stan State do we only need to do Cal State Apply? Or is there other nursing supplemental application?

If you're a transfer, yes, the nursing app is embedded into Cal State Apply, and besides submitting the TEAS score and transcripts nothing else was needed. If you're a current Stan State student you had to complete the online survey application.

OK, thanks for the information! Yes, I am a transfer student and I have already submitted my Cal State Apply before the deadline. I hope I did not miss anything! Also, do we send the official transcript after we get into the University?

See, THAT is the thing I'm mostly confused about! When I called, Brent told me that the transcripts are due October 2nd. I tried sending in my transcript to stan state and no one retrieved it. But then I saw the email where we only submit the transcripts after we get admitted. Soooo when are we getting admitted then??? I thought we don't get our results til like November... ?

I think we only need to submit official transcripts by October 2nd when we get admitted to the university. I believe that they process university admissions within two weeks of submitting the Cal State Apply. As for the nursing program, admissions don't come out until November.

Hello, has anyone applied for the CSU Stan ABSN program? Haven't seen a thread for that yet so I was just wondering if any of you applied.
