California State University, Stanislaus (CSU) BSN Spring 2024

Hey everyone! I wanted to start the thread for the Spring 2024 applicants for Stanislaus's BSN program. It's pretty early but it might be helpful to be able to talk to each other during the application process.

Yes, I applied to the ABSN program but I followed this group because I couldn't find a thread for it!

Hi mnsmith, glad to hear you applied as well! I've been anxiously waiting but they said we should hear back from admissions by October 3rd ?

Hi! I also applied to their traditional BSN program. What do you guys think would be a competitive score to guarantee a spot in the program? :)

It's hard to tell as those who took their prereqs at Stan State get a HELL a lot of extra points! (10 to be exact) Some of my friends are applying with 100+ points, and because there are only 30 spots, I would say a guaranteed spot would be 100+. 90s or high 80s would possibly be waitlisted.

Hey, for anyone that applied for Stan State's ABSN 2024 program -- I just saw on the website that they changed the notification date to TBD. It used to say October 3rd now im worried ?

I think it would still be October 3rd. I think they just forgot to change Spring 2024 to Spring 2025 because if you take a look at the application period, it's June 1 2024 - august 1.

Do you know when they are announcing the BSN not accelerated

hey has anyone received any notification? if so, is it just an email we are looking for or is the cal state apply status we have to monitor?

I emailed them regarding the TBD status. This is what they replied with:

"Thank you for reaching out. The initial date for notifications to be sent out was October 3rd 2023. However, the nursing reviewing committee is going to need some more time to review all the applications. The notifications should be sent out sometime next week through the ASBSN Email Address. "

Thank you! I also emailed them today and told me the same thing. It makes me even more nervous now!!
