Hi everyone, just wanted to say hi and looking forward to our cohort. The email states sometime before or on November that they will notify us about preparation. Has anyone plan on or have taken a CPR class that can be recommended that's required of us?

Hi Congratulations again! For me, since both are Spring starts, I am definitely going to MJC, it's literally a 10 min drive from my home. I feel like commuting to Merced for clinicals would be a challenge, seeing that we could be there for 10-12 hours. It's a tough choice to make, but I would choose what makes you feel confident in succeeding. Also, in Modesto, our clinicals will be here and the possibility of us transitioning into new grad RN residency would make us viable candidates. Best of luck! Also, if anyone can answer this, is there a confirmation email that was sent after declaration of intent email?

Hi guys, I just got the email that I was accepted into Spring 2025! I applied with an 85, best of luck everyone!

longest weekend ever for us unfortunately... the person who got in earlier had an 88, thats quite high. safe to say anything less than an 80 is on the fence.

Congrats on starting Fall 2024! Looking at the previous year handbook, the facilities for clinical are most likely Mercy nearby, Marie Green, and Merced Behavioral. From ratemyprofressor, the instructors are well liked, and a friend of mine graduated from there with high praise for the program. Either way, getting into the program is enough to be excited for with how hard it is to get in yearly.

I don't see a post for this class cohort, so if you would like, please share your thoughts, questions, or anything cocerning this upcoming program. Just got the email, I'm on the waitlist under 40: "Students that have been offered a slot in the program have been instructed to declare their intent to enroll by November 15, 2024. If there are declinations, alternates will be offered the opportunity to enroll in the program. We typically enroll between 5 and 40 alternates a semester, but it is not possible to predict how many alternates may be enrolled. If your alternate number is higher than 40, it is unlikely you will gain a spot this semester.” best of luck everyone.
