Priority deadline is officially set (December 3, 2018), so I figured I'd start a thread for those applying for Summer 2019. I'm working on finishing up my PreReqs right now and still need to take the TEAS but am waiting until I finish A&P to do that. Unfortunately, my last class (Public Speaking) will not end until December 12 so looks like I won't quite make the priority deadline but I'll have that last transcript in as soon as they're out.

Does anyone know how CSUSMs admission in “waves” works? When do you guys think the second wave of admissions will come out? Do they admit the whole cohort during the first wave or just a portion? Thanks!

From what I've seen from past semesters they send out the 1st wave of about 60 acceptances for people who have all their stuff in prior to the priority deadline(including all transcripts). The 1st wave is given 2 weeks to accept or decline. Then spaces they have left from those who declined in 1st wave are given out, and it pretty much continues that cycle till they fill the cohort. 2nd wave will prob be out in like a week or two.

Hello! I ended up retaking a class and improving my teas score, but I was accepted at 30 points, before I even got an update on my score! Best of luck to you and everyone still waiting to hear back!

I don’t know a definitive answer, but this Friday will be two weeks since the first round was offered admission. They told us we had two weeks to put a deposit down, so assumably they may send another wave next week since at that point they will know who declined from the first! Hope that helps!

Hello! Does anyone know if there are ever 3rd waves? I submitted my application before the priority deadline, but my AP scores were not sent until the 30th

Hi everyone!

They just sent the second wave of admissions! I GOT ACCEPTED!! Originally, I was at 26 points and I was able to take my TEAS the month after and raised it to 31 points! Check your portals or email for those who are waiting for the second wave!
