Hi everyone! They just sent the second wave of admissions! I GOT ACCEPTED!! Originally, I was at 26 points and I was able to take my TEAS the month after and raised it to 31 points! Check your portals or email for those who are waiting for the second wave!

Hi, I’ve been following this forum for a while now. I just want to say congratulations to those that got accepted! I applied before the deadline but my application wasn’t completed until the week after because CSUS doesn’t do electronic submissions. I received my evaluation the first week of January and had 26 points. Fortunately, I scheduled another TEAS right after my 1st try because I knew I could’ve done better. Today I took it again and as soon as finished, I sent my updated results to my advisor. Within 10 minutes, she updated my score to 31. I wanted to see if anyone on here was a roll over applicant or in the same situation that I am in and got accepted. What was the process like and do you still think I have a chance to get into the summer cohort? Thank you!

Thank you for getting back to me! I've been doing the same. I think I read every post from 2018: spring, summer, and fall! Since you submitted your application around the same time I did, has all of your transcripts processed yet? I keep checking the student center and I'm still waiting for 1 to go through. I hope this doesn't affect my chances of getting in. Thank you for sharing your points! I'm a little under 30... but I think I still have a chance. Good luck to the both of us!

Hi @channel17 ! I submitted my application on the 29th but my waiting for one transcript from CSUS to process. I was reading the forums from the past that you get your evaluation email around end of December and the acceptance notification around end of January! I'm assuming the timeline is about the same for 2019. It is also my first time applying. I didn't do so well on my TEAS, but I submitted my application anyways. According to the point system, my points are pretty low... but I'm praying that I'll have a slight chance of still getting in. I think the summer cohort isn't as competitive as the others. The allnurses forum for the summer definitely has not been as active as the previous cohorts. If you don't mind me asking, how many points do you think you're going to get or what's the breakdown of your GPA + TEAS? I'm trying to get an idea if I even have a chance of being admitted.
