Hello everyone, I wanted to make a forum for us applying to CSUEB's Spring 2025 cohort for the BSN program to hopefully discuss the application and maybe some other questions we have. It might be helpful for us and future applicants as well!

And I was in the lower third. They sent me an acceptance email on June 1 with three days to decide whether to accept or decline.
Thank you so much for this information. I do hope you ended up somewhere; you're stats are great! I was wondering tho, how is it possible to get an acceptance letter so late (June 1)? Is it possible you meant January?

Congrats on getting accepted to multiple programs! That is fantastic! Also, thanks for the heads up, I'm sure most of us on the waitlist appreciate knowing we are one spot closer to getting in 🙂
Hi everyone!
I got accepted to East Bay but waitlisted for SFSU at #14. I really wanted to get into one of those two schools with SFSU being my top since it's closer to home. I accepted admission to both schools and submitted my enrollment fee to keep moving through the process but I don't know if I should continue ordering my background check package and filling it out for East Bay since it's due on Friday. Im having a hard time deciding what to do, anyone else in a similar situation?

Hi! I'm in a very similar situation as you, except I'm #10 on the waitlist for SFSU. I ultimately ended up paying for the background check package because I can't guarantee that I'll get off the waitlist and I'd rather secure my spot at CSUEB. I think there is a way to pay for just the background check at this time for CSUEB, you just need to contact their nursing department about it.
I really hope we both get off the waitlist though! Personally, I started my pre-nursing journey at SF State and I would like to finish my degree there as well.
