California State University, East Bay (CSUEB) - Spring 2025 BSN Program

Hello everyone, I wanted to make a forum for us applying to CSUEB's Spring 2025 cohort for the BSN program to hopefully discuss the application and maybe some other questions we have. It might be helpful for us and future applicants as well!

I'm also waiting on the same school! My top two are CSUEB and SFSU.. hoping SF comes back to us soon because of the deadline!

I got my email and I've been waiting listed.

Does anyone else feel frustrated that they don't let you know where you fall on the waitlist?

I am reading from other past forums that they used to let you know which third you are in the list (first, middle, and third). I am assuming they are not doing that this cycle. And I also read waitlist go as far as 36 applicants (again, not so sure about this info for this cycle). Hope this helps! Still have hope and best of luck to those waiting for other admissions!

Thanks for looking into that it's really appreciated. Yeah their not doing that this cycle for some reason. I emailed them to see if I could find out and it was a no go. I wonder why they quit? A friend of mine who's in a program now at another bay area state school, also did some digging for me with those in her cohort, she said someone told her the waitlist was as low as 10 at CSUEB. So, maybe it's somewhere in between there.  I still have my SFSU app out there at at some of the CCs. Fingers crossed but EB is my preferred right now because it's more local.

1.   Members with at least 15 posts can create a student "Club" for your cohort byclickingon the"Breakroom/Clubs" lInk under "Communities" at the top of any page in the upper left on desktop or "Breakroom" under "Special Sections" in the upper right on mobile.

2.   Click "Start a Breakroom Club".

3.   Invite members at your discretion.

You may post social or mobile applicATIon links once in a private group. Keep in mind, clubs will not be moderated, unless a member reports an issue.

Do mind me asking which cycle and semester your friends info about the waitlist for CSUEB is?

Well, they're about to graduate after this semester so 2022 cohort I believe.

Hello, has anyone accepted their offer yet? What is the next step after emailing them? I know we have a background check to complete but are there more instructions about that from the school?

Hey! After we email them accepting our offer, we log into MyCSUEB and accept the offer there and pay the pre-enrollment fee. They said they will email us more instructions about the background check and drug test soon because it has to be done under their approved company.
